The teens were selected after a long and rigorous process that evaluated more than 70 candidates nationwide.&nbsp; </p> </div> <div align="justify"> <p> <st1:personname w:st="on" ProductID="la Sra. Rosario">Mrs Rosario Bazán, General Manager of Danper, who returned from AFS, knows from experience the advantages of this AFS scholarships system and its potential for these very studious and of strong values teens, though without economic possibilities, for what she enthusiastically decided to support the children of her employees who meet the conditions of aplication to the study and conduct. After a wide announcement, in Danper and the bordering communities, and having more than 25 pre-selected candidates, the group diminished to four representatives, of whom three managed to integrate the group of six finalists nationwide: Agustín, Biby and Victor, son of Martín Domínguez, a commited worker of the warehouse area, who through the selection process showed his quality as a participant. For his part, Agustín Valderrama, also 16, at the moment of the announcement (2008) was the Student Mayor of José Olaya High School in Hauncaquito Alto, area where Danper carries out a well-known work of Social Responsibility, circumstance for which he made contact with Mrs Rosario Bazán, who with the aim of giving him an opportunity decided to incorporate him into the selection process, given his particular integrity and desires of overcoming in contrast to his difficult economic and familiar situation.<br /> <br /> This scholarship, stated the General Manager of Danper, is all part of the work of social responsibility that characterizes the company, and inside of it the policy of support and consideration that Danper has for its employees, whom it considers its main capital. &#8220;If we have come to where we are, is thanks to the work of our people, to their dedication, they are unassuming people but very combative, people with values, always identified with the aims that we set for ourselves, that is why, we are very satisfied to offer them this opportunity and we are sure that they will be able to value and take advantage of it&#8221;, stated the businesswoman.</td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center">&nbsp; </td> </tr> </table> </body> </html>
