Biby Mircer Córdova Córdova and Agustín Valderrama Roque are two very gifted teens, of low incomes but with a very big desire of overcoming who will travel for a year to Belgium and Switzerland, respectively, all paid, as part of a cultural exchange program of AFS (American Field Services) and thanks to the patronage of Danper Trujillo. The teens were selected after a long and rigorous process that evaluated more than 70 candidates nationwide. 

Mrs Rosario Bazán, General Manager of Danper, who returned from AFS, knows from experience the advantages of this AFS scholarships system and its potential for these very studious and of strong values teens, though without economic possibilities, for what she enthusiastically decided to support the children of her employees who meet the conditions of aplication to the study and conduct. After a wide announcement, in Danper and the bordering communities, and having more than 25 pre-selected candidates, the group diminished to four representatives, of whom three managed to integrate the group of six finalists nationwide: Agustín, Biby and Victor, son of Martín Domínguez, a commited worker of the warehouse area, who through the selection process showed his quality as a participant. Finally, of six finalists nationwide, Agustín and Biby achieved victory and got the longed-for scholarships.
