Interviewed by RPP News, from the German city, our General Manager, Rosario Bazán, hold that “this global crisis is an opportunity to make the market more efficient, those companies that have not developed efficiency in their operations will not pass the fence of efficiency and sustainability that requires the market. Those companies that have been, in some way, speculating and distorting the market that have not had a responsible way of developing their skills, they will definitely have problems”.

When consulted on how Danper is facing this time of crisis, the response stated that the formula is to provide quality and sustainability, “not only in the product but also in the service, that our offer of value transcends the price, that we compete also basing this offer on other concepts, as the fact of sustainability, this seems important to me. This crisis motivates us to be more efficient, and on the global market it is fundamental that we differ, and the differentiation of our company, and I think that also the other Peruvian companies that we compete worldwide, must be based on the fact of being sustainable, for it we must be responsible, combining the economic vector, which is fundamental, and this must be based on the operative efficiency that we achieve along the chain, on the other hand the social performance, the power to continue stimulating the development of the human capital, which is very important in the Peruvian agribusiness, especially, and the environmental vector.

Fruit Logistica, in its sixteenth edition, is a point of reference of the sector, since it gives the sectors of fresh fruit and vegetables, access to technological and scientific advances related to the methods of cultivation, harvesting systems, food safety, regulations, distribution systems and marketing among other things. With regard to the growth of Danper concerning to fresh product, Rosario Bazán said that "we have been growing at a pace of 50 % in recent years, in fresh asparagus, but today we are projecting a growth of 70 % with regard to fresh asparagus. It is evident that the world market favors those companies that we have succeeded in developing a competitive advantage based on the permanent effort to achieve high quality levels in the product and in the service, definitively we will be able to sustain and grow”.
